How much GST applicable to flat booking after April 2019? How much GST applicable to flat booking after April 2019?

I booked a flat in Jan 2019 and the GST was 8%. GST was revised to 1% from April 2019. I have made 50% of the payment after Apr 2019. Am I eligible for 7% refund from builders(at least for the payment made after April).

A.Hi,
Since the GST has revised and it has been reduced to 1% then you'll to pay according to the new GST. But in your case you have paid more than the said payment a even after April 2019, so you'll be eligible to get a refund from the builder and ask for the same.
Thank You

A.hello Sir,
Yes sir you'll be eligible for 7% refund from builders as the GST price has been revised and you'll not have to pay the extra 7% of GST. And If paid you could ask for refund from the builder.
Thanks

A.Ideally yes. If the rate is revised then I am sure that the builder is not going to pay to the GST authorities @ of 8%. So, reach out to him and ask for the refund and if he denies then ask for the invoices and the supporting copies to show that he has paid the same amount to the GST.
