My wife has put cybercrime case against me for checking her email id? My wife has put cybercrime case against me for checking her email id?

My wife was in adultery and i discovered it in her email address having chats with her boyfriend . Once i saw that in her email .. I immediately forwarded from her personal email id to my personal email id (the chats between my wife and her boyfriend ).
NOW I HAVE FILED A DIVORCE AGAINST HER AND USED IT AS PROOF IN ADULTERY
IS SUCH FORWARDING OF HER CHATS FROM EMAIL ID TO MY EMAIL ID A CYBER CRIME
NO COMMERCIAL THING ONLY HER ADULTEROUS CHAT FROM HER EMAIL ID?

A.Hello
After the addition of fundamental right to privacy you have no right to access your wife's mail and messages. So she could file a case against you for infringement of her fundamental right to privacy. Although you could proceed with your divorce proceedings with you wife.
Thanks.

A.Hello
Yes your wife can file a cyber crime case against you for checking her mail id without her consent, only if you have committed such act after the divorce proceedings were started. If you have done this act prior to initiating the divorce proceedings then you cannot be held for breaching of her privacy. Also you didn't hack her account you just found the information when her mail id was already open.
Thanks.

A.Dear Sir,
You may take the matter to the High Court and get such criminal proceedings stayed and then quashed. Husband and wife are two faces of one kind and there cannot be any privacy more specifically when wife is in adultery then husband has every right to peep into her mobiles and emails.

A.As long as you both are married accessing her personal information will not be considered as breach or invasion of privacy but if you have done this once you divorce case has started then court might have a different view here and consider this a breach since your matrimonial relationship is now into suspended animation and the matter is sub-judiced hences you should not any act which can be termed as illegal.
