Transfer of Motor Vehicle Ownership
I had purchased a pre-owned Car in NOV 2020 through an agent. Paid him all payments as agreed through RTGS & somehow cash. Collected the receipt of payments from him. and the car is in possession with me. we had mutually agreed that after 30 days of purchase, RC book - ownership will be transferred in the name of me but till today after various followup, WhatsApp SMS, msg, calls RC book was not transferred in my name. In the meantime, I had renewed the insurance policy & PUC by paying cash.
please suggest further action.
A.Dear Sir,
Get issue a legal notice to transfer the vehicle in your name failing which threaten to report the matter to the RTO and police. It is very dangerous to drive the vehicle without being its owner.

A.Hi,
If the other party fails to honour their end of the bargain, you have the right to terminate the contract by giving notice to the other party. You can also submit a civil suit application, which must be filed within the limitation period.
Thank you very much. Please give the answer a rating.

A.Hi,
if the opposite party does not have to respect their part of the consideration then you can cancel the contract, giving notice to the opposite party. and you can even file an application for the civil suit which should be within the limitation period.
Thank you. Kindly rate the answer.

A.Aap ko agent se contact karna hoga. Or agent ko bolo ki vaha mere naam vehicle ko kara de. Agar vah aisaa nhi karta hai. Tab aap ko legal staps lena hoga.
Aap ko advocate ke dwara legal notice dena hoga.
Aap RTO me bhi ek application de sakte hai ki yaha vehicle mene le li hai.
