Threatening by local goon.

Hello everyone,

I am Shubhendu - a 21 year old entrepreneur and I run my ecommerce business through advertising over on social media, so customers get my contact number and contact me through there. Recently 3-4 days ago I received a Whatsapp message and a call from a person regarding our product. Initially, he was only asking questions about the product but later started introducing himself as a movie director and sent his pics with celebrities to gain my trust. Later he called me again and asked me about the product and suddenly asked me if I would like to work as a junior artist in an upcoming movie that he is directing. I however am not interested with movies and the bollywood industry so I told him that I am not interested. Later he asked me again for that purpose and asked me for my pics, I was clear that I didn't wanted to do it but just out of fun to explore a new opportunity I sent him my pics. After that he started calling me baby, babu and all that nonsense over on whatsapp but I didn't mind as I thought most of the people from the film industry behave like Karan johar - creepy (one of the reasons for not liking bollywwod) and I said nothing to him but later he suddenly proposed me and asked me if I would like to be his bf. I didn't say anything much and sent him every message very smartly to understand what was his intention at the end of the day. The next day he called me and asked if I was angry and if I would like to have an oral sex with him. I replied that i am not interested in any of it and I am just interested in my business, to that he replied with his fat ego that there will be one day that I will fall for him, and I just replied that day will never come. After that happening he started doing video calls on whatsapp but I never picked any of those. Today suddenly he might have lost his temper and started abusing me out of nowhere - "Teri aukaad nahi hai mere saamne khade rehne ki bhi" with all abusive words *** , so i replied him back with voice notes to his messages and from there the fight began. He started threatening me that he is a politician and everyone knows him in the area that i live in and he will catch me anytime sooner and giving me all sorts of threats. I also have all the call recordings and our chats and screenshots of our conversations where anyone can understand who is a fraud

But now after this, i have blocked him on Whatsapp, but just wanted to know what measures should I take to be safe and how can I take actions against these criminals who think that they can do and say anything they want on social media or anywhere and threat common people like us. To be honest and straightforward majority of Indians think that police would not be able to help us if there is a politician like him involved and because of which I am having trust issues with police too (harsh reality) but there is a truth behid this harsh reality, so i would like to have a smart and detailed explanation/solution for this.
