Violation of Privacy and harrasment Violation of Privacy and harrasment

I was in my balcony post lunch and standing there was reading my enotes from mobile. My neighbor (history of fighting with us as well as harressing my family as well) clicked my photo, without my consent, while she was cleaning porch, by asking her son to bring mobile from inside. When i heard that i immedeately started recording on my phone to have a proof. What to do now? Please help. Get me via email. I dont want to disturb my family currently. So that we can talk there on email. Please respond ASAP.

A.You not asked this question with clean hands.
You not told that you were in which state that the neighbour was forced and had to ask her son to bring mobile to click photo as evidence.

If you were in decent dress then there was no reason to click photo and you can make police complaint.
But If you were in objectionable state than your privacy will be violated by police as well.

A.Dear Madam,
You may approach Police or get issue a legal notice. You have already put the question on public platform. Such action of your neighbor is not punishable unless there is apprehension that he may misuse such photographs for which you have to get him summoned to the Police Station and Police people take some bond and warn him and let him go.

A.Hi,
Investigate about her intention and approach the court. You can give a police complaint and they will investigate the case and file the charge sheet. If she has any mala fide intention, she will be prosecuted.

A.See the law of privacy in India is still in infant stage and it is gradually being strengthened. For the act done by your neighbour what you can do is yo can complain to the police stating that your privacy is being breached (they may not make a case out of it for lack of proper privacy laws) then should atleast reprimand the neighbour for doing this.

A.Hi,
You can file a police complaint regarding this if you want to take this issue in the court. You have to investigate the exact intention of her for clicking your photo. If it is with an intention to cause any defamation to you or your family, you can sue her for that too.
