Harassment to senior citizens

I am a senior citizen living with my life in pune.I sold my flat with the help of broker.he promised me to complete the whole transaction of sale for that I charge one percent brokerage. You give me brokerage after due completion of all the final deal in good faith.now the question is without completion of deal he is demanding brokerage to me and for that he is harrasing me on WhatsApp message.so please I want legal opinion for the above case.thank you.

A.You are not liable to pay any brokerage unless your deal is not completed. The demand of broker is illegal. You can report the matter to police if broker harass you. You can reuse to avail his service. Broker cannot harass which is otherwise illegal.

If the broker is harassing you then you could filr a FIR against such person in the nearest police station and for demanding money. Also warn him first that you would file a criminal complaint against him if he further harass you.

A.Hello Sir
You could talk with the brooker and ask him to complete the deal and get his charges. In case he threats you , you could file a criminal complaint against the broker for threatening.
