Sir,
I am employed at Kerala Government and my wife is in Andhra Pradesh at Canara bank as Assistant manager. Is it possible for getting us posted in a same or nearby station in kerala itself ?

Your wife can approach her higher authority or union authorities as there is a rule spouse can ask transfer where the other spouse is doing work.

A.dear client write down to your HR, as you are wife and husband its easy task, their is law for banking person and rule for transfer and shifting of the employee, so the Hr and responsibility to take care all these,

A.Hi,
You can get support from any Canara bank employees union for transfer related issues. They can guide you about it and if there is any vacancy and a genuine reason for the transfer, the bank may grant it.

A.Hi,
Your wife can give a request for a transfer to Kerala detailing this issue. If there is any vacancy she may get transfer but that depends upon the discretion of the bank. She can also consult with CBOA(Canara bank officers association) for any helps.

A.Yes I have my self been witness to a similar case where the wife was a govt teacher in bengal govt and the husband was an officer in a nationalized bank. On the strength of the posting of the wife the husband applied and got posted in bengal. Hence it is very possible for your wife to apply on the basis of your place of posting and in case the same is not granted the door of the high court of andhra pradesh will be wide ajar for you.
