Books not delivered by onlineabc.in

I ordered 2 books on onlineabc.in website on 31 May 2021 and done
a payment of 335 via my debit card. But after two months of waiting, the order has not
been received still. I also tried to contact them on their mobile number and support
email id, but they are not responding. Later I contacted the owner of this
website on Instagram, he assured me to give a refund. But no refund
was received till yesterday. Later I registered a complaint on cybercrime.gov.in and send a screenshot of the complaint to the owner of this website. Then he agreed to give a refund. Today he initiated a refund but now I don't want the only refund, I want a compensation of Rs 2000 for mental agony and wastage of study time. Is it ok to demand compansation??

A.Hi, send legal notice to company, file consumer complaint,
You can ask for compensation too. If you have any such demand, you have to inform him in advance. You have the right to get your money on time in such cases and also ask for any losses you had because of such delays.

You have the right to get compensation for the losses. You can issue him a legal notice asking him to return the amount and the compensation which you have mentioned in the notice. The amount of compensation should be reasonable.
