I sold 2 Acer land got it from my grandfather , now i want re purchase the same . If i purchase this property is there any legal issues will come from my grandfather class 1 hires is there any chance to file a case for partition.

A.Hi,
You should contact the closest BLRO to find out who owns the property and then try to convert it to your name. Because all sons have a right to ancestral property by birth, the father cannot give it to one son at the cost of the others. Thanks to a 2005 amendment to the Hindu Succession Act, daughters are now coparceners and have a right to the family property.

Kindly provide the right description of the property of your grandfather to understand the legality of the situation. Intestate Succession in case of Death of a Male. In case a male dies intestate, i.e. without making a will, his assets shall be distributed according to the Hindu Succession Act and the property is transferred to the legal heirs of the deceased.
