Builder delaying the construction

I have purchased a plot in an under-construction Project in Lucknow.Builders claimed to handover the completed house within 7months and already took 50% of the total value even before the Registry of the plot. Now i'm badly stuck as they've been demonstrating negative attitude since the registry was done. Request for advice as to how or if i can get out of the notarized contract along with all my hard earned money back? I can't afford long legal battle, belong to mid income goup or may be low income as the things stand now.Please help.thank you

To protect the rights of buyer against such harrassing actions of the builders the government has enacted the RERA act. The buyer could file a complaint against the builder for his actions. The main goal of the RERA act is to safeguard the interest of the home buyers and to create a sense of standardization in the real estate market. With the launch of this act in place, there is no place for developers to do any mistakes to home buyers.

A.Hello Sir
You could file a complaint against thr builder under the RERA act. It's is duty of builder to give the possession of the property in the stipulated time and if he delays then he is liable to pay compensation to it's customers. Also you could sue him in the civil court for not completing the work on time as decided in the agreement.

A.It is necessary to scrutinize that Sale Agreement for its terms and conditions and default clauses otherwise proper legal advice cannot be done. More particularly because you are unwilling to be in legal battle.
