surrogacy in india for single men surrogacy in india for single men

I am a single male citizen of India, I am looking forward to starting my family as a single father by opting surrogacy program for single male.
I have come across various doctors and agencies, who are prepared to assist me with it, so I'm confident that it is medically feasible.

However, given Indian legislation, I'm not sure if becoming the child's legal parent is possible. Do you believe there is a provision or paperwork in place so that if the child is born through a single male surrogacy program, my name will appear on all of the child's records as a father, beginning with the birth certificate, aadhar card, and passport?

A.As per the Surrogacy (Regulation) Bill, 2019, only infertile couples, married for more than five years can opt for altruistic surrogacy. As per the new law, a single man cannot opt for surrogacy. If you find the answer helpful, kindly rate me.

A.Single person is not allowed to go for surrogacy and it is applicable only for couples. A single male cannot have a child as the new law is being formulated as the THE SURROGACY (REGULATION) BILL, 2019 is already been tabled in the parliament.

A.So far there is no law for surrogacy in India although there is a bill but so far it is pending before the Govt offices to be passed on and is not a law yet therefore in your case only Indian Contract Act, 1872 can help so you will have to execute a contract with such surrogate mother depending on terms of the process you and the surrogate mother negotiate. After that regarding having name of your child on his identification records is a later process which starts with the certificate which such hospital will provide you bearing being father (which will be obviously aware that the child is surrogate) and later through the same you will procure birth certificate but than as you must be aware since the child would not have any mother in such case so every where required you might be questioned which you will need to answer regarding child's mother so be prepared for the same and also in the future with time your child will be used to the same depending upon how well you explain him/her if you actually believe and choose to go with surrogacy take care and be prepared for these social perspectives as well. Thank you.
