Can we have backdated rent agreement?

1.) Can we have backdated rent agreement? For eg, I want a rent agreement from May 2021 to March 2022 and I want to create a rent agreement in September i.e. current month. Is it possible?
2.) As I want to have backdated agreement, can I show rent as paid in cash for months(May to August) and pay further rent via digital payment method?
3.) I am living with my parents and want to create a rent agreement for the same. What is the minimum security deposit for the rental agreement?

A.Hi,
It is better to execute the agreement on the present date and make the agreement valid from the date you mentioned above as otherwise, it may lead to unnecessary litigation in the future.

A.Although some people do that but it is advised not to create a backdated agreement as if any authority finds out that the agreement is backdated or lets say one of the parties creates dispute on the agreement then it can be a problematic situation for the other parties.
You can make an agreement valid/applicable from a back date but execution date should be the present date.
