Money taken, but threatning when return and told he will make forgery documents

I lended huge amount of money to friend, a businessman and political strategist of shiv sena party, as he told his coal business affected due to election and covid. he took 11.5 lakh from me but when i am asking for return, he threatning me that I took 21 lakh from him, which i am returning, which is false. He said he have political connection and nothing will happen to him.
A.Dear Sir,
You can lodge complaint with Police immediately and also file a civil suit and better get one post dated cheque if possible as it is very easy to recover through cheque bounce case.

A.It is necessary to know whether you have any documentary proof in your support as well as any demand on your part in writing or not because until and unless relevant fact be known, legal remedy cannot be suggested.
