No Sale deed for land property which is owned by us for more than 25 years

we have 2500 sq ft plot and on top of that construction of 1000 sq ft. In year 1990, we bought it from one of our relative. He didnt give us sale dead of 20RS stamp paper work. But he registered our name in grampanchyat and 8A uttara is our name. Light bill and tax receipt for house is our name and we have possession for last 25 years. Now that construction is old and that land on saat bara uttara is still not our name. So how to get that land of 2500 sq ft transferrred on our name on saat baara? we couldnt get that sale deed anymore.

You may file suit for declaration and get it declared and be in possession peacefully.

A.Sale Deed until and unless registered has no legal value. Recording of names in Record of Rights cannot be conclusive proof of title until and unless you have registered Title Deed in your favour. It is necessary to know why no step has been taken for last 25 years for executing registered Purchase Deed.
