Hi, I was born in India and stayed in India till 2011. Now I am citizen of another country. I do not have adhaar card and latest proof of residence in India. The court is asking for Adhaar card and Indian Address proof for the issue of Legal Heir Affidavit/Certificate

A.Dear Client,
Aadhar when referred by the court for determining legal heir it means that any government issued certificate like birth certificate, gas bill, electricity bill, voter id, passport, Bank passbook, Indian driving license etc which contain your Indian address and name.

A.At present you are not an Indian citizen that is clear from your statement but you have not specified that what is your present citizenship category is, I meant to say whether you are holding OCI Card or not. Until and unless relevant information be given along with the relevant information in respect of whose property you are claiming inheritance, Legal remedy cannot be suggested.
