ACB case abated in death of accused

Sir, my Father trapped in a ACB case and suspended from the service . After two years he got reinstated and joined again and retired on 31-03-2021 . He died due to covid 19 in April . Court has abated case against him in September . The office has not released any monetary benefits . What are the procedure to be followed for claiming and do we need to file a discharge petition to get the abatement order from court ? Please advise
