Please enlighten me as to whether a Religious Trust holding a current account in State Bank of India can open another associated account for the Trust for a long term Temple Project. If so, what are the norms.

As a legal entity one can have multiple accounts in the name of that entity after having gotten the resolution from the board/trust. For formalities to open bank account you need to get in touch with the bank officials and find out the requirement and process.
