RCOP case won. Case started November 2014 and the petition allowed with eviction November-2021.

The issue now here the respondent is trying to cheat me without paying rent and the total amount is more than ten lakhs pending so far.

How can we recover these pending amounts now? Can I able to recover 8 years of rent now?. In the petition, the court aware that the rent arrears starts with January 2014.

A.Dear client,
If the court's decree stated that the respondent must pay the rent then you may file a police complaint against him or file a new suit, requesting the court to take action against him to pay you the due amount.
Thank you.

A.Dear Client
Did you petition prayed for recovery of due rents from the respondent? If yes then what was the final judgement on that prayer? If the court has allowed you to recover and ordered the respondent to pay then he should pay you or else you can file an execution petition for the same.

My lawyer mentioned while petition, that RCOP petition requires to pray for Eviction. By default, the judge calculated the arrears of rent and give judgement. However, judge has given only eviction order. But have not calculated any arrears of rent.

My worry is that if we put case now to recover the money, the limitation act may come on it for the arrears of rent. Case started during the year 2014. Case ended November 2021. I am worried that I am entitled to claim only for the past 3 years because of the limitation act.
