Tenants rights Gurgaon living in Delhi
I'm from Gurgaon living in Delhi, nd my boyfriend is a local resident living with me. The owners/landlords here charge 800/- for police verification. I've read that it's supposed to be free and therefore I need to know if that's even important since we're both from the NCR.
A.Dear Client,
Usually, there is no fee for police verification, and if the landlord has charged you some amount that might be for the broker who would have got it verified.

A.Dear Client
Yes the police verification should have been free but many a times the broker does all this for the landlord and they ask for some money to do all this. Probably because of that reason he would have charged the 800 rupees from you.
