Brother debt in chit

My brother joined 7.5 lakhs chit with his friends circle and didn't pay full money, now my brother is abscond. I am getting call from my brother friend to pay balance money. Is their anyway I can legally deal with them.
I didn't sign any of the documents and was not aware of this chit earlier.

If you are not a party to the contract you don't have to worry about it as it has no legal recourse but if they keep asking you or harassing you you can file complaint against them and seek a legal relief.

If you are not a party to all this then you need not worry about it. Tell those friends of your brother not to contact you or else you will file a police complaint against them. Let them go to court to get their money. Nothing will happen to you.
