I am living in a property which is leased by company named nestaway. Now they are saying that you have to serve notice period of 45 days and in agreement it is said that you have to serve one month notice period and they provided me with my rename agreement after 8months from the date I started living there. A.Hello Sir,

As per the facts which had been provided, if it has been mentioned in the written agreement that one month notice period needs to be served then the owner cannot on his own state that notice of 45 days has to be served as this is not legally correct.

Hope this clarifies your query and requirement.

Thank you.

A.Dear Client
What is this rename agreement, I am not able to follow. Anyway if the agreement says one month of notice then you have to serve a notice of one month only. Their asking for 45 days is not a valid ask from them.
