Instead, you must combat the blackmailer from the very beginning. If you are a victim of cyber-blackmail, you should report it to the local police.

There is no need to panic over this as the blackmailer will take advantage of that. Lodge a complaint with the local police station with all the details and do not pay anything to the blackmailer else this will be never ending.
