i belong to Hindu Schedule Caste of 32 years age. I am preparing for civil services. being a SC i will be having age relaxation and i have 5 more attempt. My question is that if i cleared the exam at the age of 34 years being a SC candidate and i gone through training and after my posting if i change my religion to Christianity, will it have effect on my job ?

A.No effect on your job its your right but sure your children's as will be considered under minority section. also that in the near future, if you return to Hinduism then you will not get any benefit from SC reservation.

A.Honest answer is NO effect on job.religion is Constitutional right. There is change of religion should have no effect on your job since the conversion of religion only has prospective effects and not retrospective effect. But you might be loss your benefits given to SC caste category like reservation and atrocity protection. govt cant descriminate on the basis of religion .
