Humiliation and mental harrasment by professor Humiliation and mental harrasment by professor

Sir/Madam, I am a second year engineering student from Sri sairam engineering college. I forgot in renew my on-duty permission with my HOD. It was my mistake, I agree with that. I apologised regarding that with my HOD. Even after apologising, My class incharge(professor) publicly humiliated me infront of everyone in my class stating" you are useful for nothing. you are a loser and a fraud. Now the whole department knows that your a cheater. I will call your parents and make then wait from morning to evening, before talking with them. You are not allowed to get OD till your final year. " He didn't even allow me for OD inspite of having proper permission. I know humiliation of students infront of everyone and mentally harrasing them is a crime. What are all the charges can we take against this reckless professor other than complaining to the principal?

A.Dear Sir,
You may go to a Lawyer and get issue a strong legal notice and teach him a lesson and a copy to be marked to the Institution and HOD and threaten him to go to Media and thus he may have to face the music thus your grievance may be redressed and you may also claim compensation for such and warranted attitude against you.
