Sir.,Good morning in my street one public street light is used as of his own by altering the tube light fittings turning towards his house and making use as of his own,the maximum light illumination falls only on his house than on the street the very purpose of it is defeated municipality is not taking any action i am a social worker kindly guide me how action can be taken because it is against to the rules of Indian electric rules.law is above all but for the above said family what ever they do is law it is high handed.

A.Make a written representation to municipality/corporation, wait for 15 days if no reply contact a local lawyer from Vidhikarya for sending demand notice and thereafter file writ petition in the high court

A.it is a mischief after verifying the facts you can approach to concerned municipal authorities with a written complaint a copy thereof can be sent to police officials, if no action is taken by them, a writ to High court can be filed
