Sir my name is Amritangshu panja I bought a bike on june2018 west bengal registration and one of my friend take my bike and told he will give my money slowly and use the bike but for first few years everything was fine and he was living near my house in rent but last oct i came to know that he ran away with the bike at different state and from then he is ignoring me I am requesting him to either give my bike back or to transfer the name but he is ignoring so what should I do now sir my family also don't know I am very scared.can I do something legally as I am scaring because if he do something with bike I will be responsible

First file a complaint with the police with the said facts so that in case if something is done wrong with the bike, you will not be held liable as your bike is not with you and it is also complained to the police. You can certainly give police complaint against your friend for the said loss or theft, if the vehicle is yours. Such a complaint can be registered irrespective of whether or not it is up to date with insurance.
