Was the cheating in exam caught by the invigilator and reported to the authorities? Was it documented anywhere which can be produced when demanded? if not then you need not worry about it.

Yes, the incident was reported to authority and I had to pay a hefty amount of money for the misdeed. Recently , I got a job and the recruitment agency has issued a notarized affidavit which needs to be signed by me for character and antecedent verification. In the mentioned affidavit I had to proclaim that I have not been convicted of any offence involving moral turpitude.

What should I do now ??

A.Dear Client,
cheating in exam is considered a malpractice but there is a huge difference between cheating in exam and section 420 of IPC. students conduct certificate is considered during the recruitment into job but there are no such cases like termination from job for cheating in exams in graduation. well, students can be barred from cheating in exams by the college management itself.
