Concurrent US visas inquiry

I have an O3 visa and I am yet to enter the US. However, I am planning to pursue my studies in US on F-1 visa and I have an appointment booked for the same at the US consulate. I am not sure if getting F-1 stamp will cancel my O3 visa immediately? Or can I choose on what visa status I would like to enter after reaching the US? Can I still enter into US on O3 visa if I have F-1 visa stamped?

O3 Visa is issued to the spouse and children on person holding O1 and O2 Visa. Now O1 and O2 Visa are provided to people with specialized technical knowledge in certain areas. Your O3 Visa is not an stand alone vis abut coupled with other visas.
In my opinion you should write to the US consulate to get the proper answer lest you will have the risk of getting deported from US.
