The eligibility for degree lecturer is "master degree with 55% and net.".
As per ugc regulations, incentive increments are sanctioning to professional post graduation holders. The authorities sanctioning the incentive increments to mtech with msc candidates and denying mtech with btech candidates by specifying not additional qualification.
There is no word additional qualification in ugc regulations. And msc with net is the minimum qualification for degree lecturer post. The msc is one of requirement for join mtech.
iit, madras which is one of the prestigious Institute in India, given an certificate as mtech is higher qualification than mphil as per their institution.
But the other higher educational institutions like tejpur university was sanctioned incentive increments to mtech with btech candidates also.
