violation of Indian Evidence Act Section 76

I have submitted application with IPO of Rs.10 for getting required documents from government school within 24 hours on 03 Sep 2022 through Speed Post and it reached on 05 Sep 2022. Authority has not given any response till date. What is more benefitial further legal step on this issue?
A.Sir you can wait for a while and after that you can contact the authority regarding the matter and take an update as to why the delay is happening
