Harrassment messages from PC in bangalore

Sir my friend she was once in a relationship with the police constable and after some time their relationship got broken and he from past 6 months messaging her in vulgar language and creating the lie allegations on her and even he tortured her parents and now her parents are not talking to her the way the did before. And now she is depressed by his messages and she saying like there no other way to stop this I have die and all those things.
If we give complaint that will be a issue in her home. Could you please guide how to solve this issue sir what actions may be taken on that police pc. Sir/madam please help with this
