I have been appointed as the head of the family and I have to submit the List of Assets. Now the question is can I declare the current (2022) value of the assets

A.Dear Sir,
As on the date of application for inventory proceedings the assets stand declared as such you cannot declare the value of assets as on today.

A.Dear Client
Whenever the valuation of any asset is to be declared with respect to a legal procedure or proceedings then we say that the value "as on date", Since you are going to share the value currently hence you should provide the current valuation of 2022

A.Dear client,
Please hire an attorney as he/she will help you throughout the proceedings in your best interest. Goa Succession, Special Notaries and Inventory Proceeding Act, 2012 will be applicable and a local lawyer will be the best person to help you.
But, you can declare your assets according to 2016 value as that's when the inventory proceeding was filed.
