Cyber crime - working with jio

I was working with jio as an email advisor in jio enterprise team. My job was to process sim replacement. Some fraud happened with one of the customer due to sim replacement and he filed a complaint in cyber crime police station against. Now jio company wants me to travel from mumbai to gandhi nagar Gujarat to give the statement, what should I do?

Yes, you have to travel and give a statement otherwise Police have every right to arrest you. Mostly you will be protected by the Police and your company and you may claim travelling expenses from your company.
