A.Forced marriage is illegal in India, and you have the right to refuse to marry. Here are some steps you can take to stop the marriage from happening:
Talk to your parents: Try to talk to your parents and explain to them that you do not want to get married at this time. Be clear about your feelings and reasons for not wanting to get married.
Seek help from a trusted adult: If talking to your parents does not work, seek help from a trusted adult, such as a relative, teacher, counselor, or a women's organization. They may be able to help you negotiate with your parents or provide legal assistance.
Contact the police: If you fear for your safety or are being threatened with violence, contact the police. Forced marriage is illegal in India, and the police can provide protection and take legal action if necessary.
Obtain legal help: If you need legal help, you can contact a lawyer or a legal aid organization. They can help you understand your rights and provide legal assistance if necessary.
Thank You
