Work from home fraud Work from home fraud

I have done a work from home online job of data entry with company tech solutions.. it was a 5 day data entry job. Before making the agreement they just told that if you are unable to complete the work or the work what you have done is wrong. Then you have to pay 7100/- and told they will make an agreement. And asked for id photo and signature. I have done that. When they sent the agreement there were so many terms & conditions in it.. which they did not tell before.. and now my work got completed 2 days back. Today they sent a Legal note saying your work is inappropriate and you have to pay 7100/- for the work. I paid that amout. And now they are saying if you want to close the agreement you have to pay online either 16850/- or come the court and pay 75000/- and they are asking me to make the decision now.. what should I do..

A.It sounds like you may have been a victim of a scam. The fact that the company asked for your ID photo and signature and only provided the detailed terms and conditions after you had signed up is a red flag. Furthermore, the demand for payment after you had completed the work and their subsequent demands for additional payment are also suspicious.

It is important to note that if the terms and conditions were not provided to you before you signed up for the job, then you may not be legally bound by those terms. Additionally, any demand for payment after the work is completed should have been made clear in the original agreement.

My recommendation would be to not make any additional payments to this company. If they continue to harass you, you can consider taking legal action against them. You can also file a complaint with the consumer protection agency in your country or region.

In the future, be cautious when signing up for work-from-home jobs or other online opportunities. Always read the terms and conditions carefully before agreeing to anything and never provide personal information or payment before verifying the legitimacy of the company.
Thank You
