A.If the 4 employees terminated by IOCL (Indian Oil Corporation Limited) want to challenge the decision in court, they can file a writ petition under Article 226 of the Indian Constitution in the High Court of the state where the termination took place. They can also consult with a lawyer to help them draft the petition.

To improve their chances of success in court, the employees would need to demonstrate that the decision to terminate them was arbitrary, discriminatory, or violative of the principles of natural justice. They would need to present evidence that shows that the OMR sheet mismatch was not due to any fault on their part, or that the termination was not proportionate to the alleged infraction. They would also need to show that IOCL did not follow the procedures laid down in its employment policies and the principles of natural justice.

The success rate of their petition would depend on the strength of their case and the evidence presented. It is difficult to predict the outcome of any legal proceeding, but if the employees can present compelling evidence and make a strong case, they may have a good chance of getting reinstated in their jobs.
thank you
