My tenant is not vacating on the date specified even after giving notice period as specified in the Rental agreement. Even after repeated advices they are not sticking to dates provided. The tenant is also not paying the rent and asking me to deduct from Deposit amount provided. Can you advise on the steps to be taken regarding this. As a landlord how am I protected?

A.Dear Sir,
The remedy lies to approach Civil Court but it will take longer time. Better compromise the issue and see that the tenant vacate the premises or bring force on him from different angles.

A.Hello sir,
In this case you’ll have to politely ask the tenant to vacate and serve them with a notice or timeframe to do so. If they still don’t leave you can approach the local police station or get court orders for eviction.
Thank you
