I have an ancestral property in murshidabad west Bengal of which I am the 1/6th shareholder.We all wanted amicable settlement but one member in our family has taken the matter in court.Its been two year not a single hearing has happened.He isn't willing to do anything.How can we speed up the process or counter attack him for faster resolutions

A.Hello Sir,
If the Defendant does now show up for the trial, the Plaintiff can ask for a default judgment against the Defendant. Also you can ask the court to close the matter early.
