Land partition - 1955 my great grand parents went with unregistered partition

in the 1955 my great grand parents(2 Brothers) went with unregistered partition out of which 60 cents of land (it has self acquired(28 cents) and ancestral(32 cents) ) and they distributed the land 30 cents each , elder one share is EAST side 30 cents and Younger one share is west side 30 cents, but while younder brother distributing his share to his two sons in the registered partition in 1966, 15 cents to each son and the document says instead of west side of his share , its mentioned in the document to the EAST side and it was witnessed by Elder Brother and his(Elder Brother) son also now the question is which one is valid now.
