Lease house, Injunction suit filed but agreement is not registered

We are tenants and paid 9lakhs to person A who got an agreement from house owner to let the house for lease, now the person A absconded and house wants us to evacuate the House, so we filed an injunction suit and case is going on.
The agreement is not registered so wanted to check if we are going on right direction,
