Should I leave the house that is in my father-in-laws name? Should I leave the house that is in my father-in-laws name?

My husband is having an affair with a woman. I have reached out to his family on several occasions no one seems to be bothered. He just transfers money to my account. I am running around with my 6 yr old daughter for everything. Last and this month he made his parents send a message through WhatsApp asking me to leave the house. First, his mother sends me a message asking me to leave then I forwarded it to his father asking what is this. His father replies to this message that it is his house and I have to leave the house. Today again my husband sends a message that I need to leave the house end of this month. I need to know if I am legally allowed to continue staying in this house even if his father or he insists that I leave the house with my child (6 yr old girl). This house was constructed just when I got pregnant and was built for My husband me and my daughter. Now since my husband is having an affair he doesn't want me they are trying to chuck me out. I only need to know if I can continue staying in the house since it is in my father in laws name and is there any way they can legally throw me out. I am living in Salem Tamil Nadu.

A.Hello,
As per the facts given by you , you have the right for residence in your matrimonial home. The catch is that your husband must also have some share in the said property. If the house I wholly owned by the in law's you may not succeed in getting an order of the court in your favour.
For better clarity you can reach out to an Advocate.
