I m suffering from post partem depression right now. I m practicing architecture. I took one residential project in 2020 and I got pregnant in middle of the project in 2021 but I continue to work didnt took any leave but my my client and his family harrassed me throughout they forced me to in my last trimester to go upstairs and check roof reinforced which can be done on video call also but the entire family treated me very badly. They even force me to come on site even 4 days before my delivery and kept on calling just after delivery and issued them drawings 5 days after my delivery. I worked for 6 months after delivery also and when the work is completed they started ghosting me after sept. Only one family member used to reply on WhatsApp and he told me in dec that he will make my remaining payment after jan 2023 but he didn't and when asked him in march 2023 to clear my payment he said what r u talking about we have done every payment. I hv no legal documents to prove it but I hv WhatsApp messages then again started ghosting and messaged me to talk on april 15 but he didn't replied again when I told them I will come at your place if you dont reply then they started throwing shade on me that you were pregnant and you didnt do anything so we will not pay you and also we havnt signed the agreement so you dont have any proof. I m so pissed off with this treatment. I cant go for medication because my son is on breastfeed I m only taking consultancy for my depression. Kindly guide me what to do. Can I take any actions regarding this harrassment.

A.Hello,
It is advisable to you to file an FIR against them for harrasment and you can also file a suit for recovery of payment for which you need to have documents in support of your case.
