I'm from muslim family, i got married in august 2022 now I'm getting mentally tortured at extreme level by my in laws especially husband. They are against my career, studies, job etc and also against my lifestyle.

A.If you feel yourself victim of domestic violence by your husband or his family you may protect yourself by taking folowing steps-
> Lodge a complaint in Form -I reporting incident of violence under PWDV Act to local Police Station and as soon as you lodge the complaint the Protection Officer appointed u/s.8 of PWDV Act who is duty bound to take suo motto action to provide you all kind assistance and protection.
> Reach out to a good criminal lawyer for filing application/complaint before the Magistrate concerned u/s.12 of the Act praying appropriate reliefs in the matter.
