Rental agreement Rental agreement

Hi I recently rented a house and paid and the security deposit on 30 April 2023. Later on due to my landlords rude behaviour and his inability to agree upon the promised we canceled the house on 15th may 2023. He handed over the house one week late on 8th may 2023 and later we tried to move in on 13th may 2023 but the house was totally unclean with all paint and carpentry work. So on 13th I signed the rental agreement but he didn’t sign the rental agreement and I got back the agreement on the same day from the watch man and cut off my signature. Now the owner doesn’t know the watch man gave me the agreement so he is asking for it or he’s saying he will loose his job . Now I don’t know whether to return the agreement or not I cut off my signature and wrote canceled on the agreement and near the owner section I wrote not yet signed and the agreement doesn’t has any clauses which tell what to do if we cancel. So please tell me if o return the agreement can it be used against me in any way

A.Dear Sir,
You may keep the keys of the house or stay in the same house till the landlord refund your entire security deposit.

A.Dear Client,
The contents of any agreement or contract matter the most when a dispute arises out of it.
However, based on your information it may be suggested that when an agreement between the parties is not executed or signed before any witness, it got no validity and enforceability and accordingly can not be applied against you. So you need not to worry. You may keep a Xerox copy of the said agreement for future reference and return it back to the watchman/security guard whose job appears to be at stake.

A.Hello,
Mere writing on the agreement does not mean anything, unless the agreement had any clause related to eviction or termination agreement .
