Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing to address a grave concern regarding the non-cancellation of EMIs for the loan obtained to finance the Fellowship Program in Software Development from Crio.Do, with a total cost of INR 180,000. Paid a token amount of 6013 INR.
On 20th April 2023, I entered into an agreement with Crio.Do to enroll in Fellowship Program in Software Development and paid 6013 INR And availed a loan of remaining Amount from Avanse Financial Services to cover the course fees of 174000 INR which is a tie-up company of Crio.Do and through Crio.Do Avanse Financial Services made a loan of 174000 INR on my name for 35 months (Approx 3 years). That time I was not told about the course Cancellation things by representative.
On 21st April 2023, immediately after enrolling in the course, I promptly reached out to Preethi, a representative from Crio.Do who took me in the course on whatsapp as I was not told about Crio.Do dashboard initially, to express my concern that i am unable to pay the EMIs and requested a dropout. Shockingly, Preethi denied my request, stating that Crio.Do does not have a cancellation policy. This denial directly leaves me in a disadvantaged position as a consumer. Crio.Do forced me to continue and later I found that course is also not meeting my expectations and also, I am financially unstable to make the Emi payment of 6000 INR for three years. Hence again raised a Request for dropout from the course. But the request was denied by the Crio.Do team by stating that “We have no Cancellation Policy”. I am very disappointed with the Crio.Do and feel helpless. I am mentally harassed and have been seeking a positive response but haven’t got any. Is mental harassment the new policy adopted by Crio.Do team?



However, I switched to a different course from Crio.do to Masters in QA Automation, AS the Crio.Do team denied the cancellation request initially and I had been forced to continue. I am currently facing financial difficulties and I am unable to continue paying the course fees and the content was beyond my understandings. I switched to different Course of Crio.Do from Fellowship Program in Software Development to Masters in QA Automation, just to Value my money as they denied my first cancellation request and forced me to continue the course.

Furthermore, I find the QA Automation course too to be of inadequate value, prompting my request for a dropout. Regrettably, Crio.Do team denied my request, citing the absence of a cancellation policy and Anirudh from Crio.Do also said to me over call you had to raise a concern before which I did on the very next day of payment i.e. even before onboarding. This thing wasn't take into consideration as i asked for dropout on whatsapp because i was not told about the dashboard that time so i went to preethi who took me through the whole process and she also denied with the same reason "We have no Cancellation Policy". I was forced to continue this course. To value my money, I did continue to dig out the best out of it but i found that the course is not meeting my expectations and I am also unable to pay Emis. Hence, raised a request for dropout again on 11th May 2023. After that, I stopped using the course nor I will use in future. After raising the the cancellation request, I hardly get response from the Crio.Do team. I used to raise a lot of requests to get a response from them.

A.Dear Client,

Being the situation as stated in your query it appears you are almost in the trap of both Crio.Do and Avanse Financial Services and victims of their unfair trade practice. Any NBFC or Microfinance agency is regulated by the Regulatory Authority, RBI, SEBI, NABARD and other statutory authorities having regulatory power over the subject matter. Any course or subject of an educational institute having no exit policy on cancellation of any course itself proves their dishonest and ulterior motives behind their actions. So when you understood their inferior intention, you just make a complaint ASAP on both entities asking for a refund of course fees already deducted and for cancellation of EMI mandate on cancellation of the earlier course that let you force to pursue another in the absence of any transparent policy endorsing the copies of complaint online Grievance Cell of RBI, District Magistrate,(who is chairperson of Dist. Consumer Protection Council) and the Secretary, District Legal Services Authority. Simultaneously you file a complaint before the Dist Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission under CPA, 2019 against both the entities who are engaged in unfair trade practice claiming a refund of course fees and compensation for harassment. Hopefully, the steps suggested herein may work for resolving your crisis.
