I got a offer letter for Test Engineer in Chennai. In the offer letter various things are writer and there is a bond for 2 years the terms are as follows: Terms and Conditions apply as,



1.Initial 3-4 Months you will be under training period specific to Domain, technologies and skills. Post completion of training you will be deployed into Live Projects.
2.If you break the bond or abscond after the DOJ you need to pay the cost invested during the training and on your hiring process.
3.Cost of 2 Laksh need to be paid if you didn’t follow the Point 2. If in any case I leave after 1 year do I have to pay 2 lakhs or a less amount.

A.Hello,
As per the facts mentioned, the company may not sue you if you break the bond as it will not be successful in recovering any money from you through a court order. The company may send you a legal notice as part of their pressure tactics. You can send them a legal notice if they try to withhold your documents.
