Grandmothers property Grandmothers property

My grandfather executed a will and some 6 schedules of properties went to my grandmother’s name.
All the properties were his own earned properties.
My grandparents have 3 Childrens and one is my father among the 3.
The properties which my grandmother received through the will,
She gave all the 6 properties to her daughters and my father did not receive anything from my grandmother.
Does my grandmother have the sole right to give all the said properties to her daughters-without giving a share to my father?
Can we file a case asking for my fathers share in the said properties?
Will court accept our case?

A.Dear Client,
Since the Properties are self-acquired properties of your grandfather which were devolved to your Grandmother through Will, she can dispose of or transfer the title of said properties to anybody as per her choice. No other heirs can claim the share of a Self-acquired property as a matter of right.

A.Hello,
As per the information you have mentioned, In the case of seperate property no one has the right to inherit that property unless transferred through will and in your case your grandfather tranferred his seperate property to your grandmother , now she is the real owner and she can tranfer is to anyone she wants .
The only option i can suggest you to see that whether the will which was made in the name of your grandmother is registered or unregistered and if not then you might have some chance to get it challenged in the court of law.
For more information you can reach out to an advocate.
