Property Registration Property Registration

We bought a property in 2005 and couldnt register it in our name due to cash crunch. Now when we are going to register it the saler is asking for money (market price *34%) as he is claiming to pay such taxes all these year under his balance sheet or else he won't come for registration. What do we do?

A.Dear Sir,
It is better to pay some amount and get register your property to avoid future complications. It is time barred to get register as such you may also lose the property itself.

Thank you Sir for replying. What is the justification to ask amount for registration? When we have already paid and purchased this property and we do have payment receipt on his letterhead that payment is been done. I donot understand logic behind asking money for registration. Can you please suggest a legal way to take this matter ahead?
