Call cum show cause notice Call cum show cause notice

I received call cum show cause notice.. from Mumbai customs.. for obscene item(this is what they call in notice) for the s*x toy which I ordered online of amount 3600..
Now they have given that.. in 10 days.. I should give reason why I ordered that.. & why penalty of rs5000 should not be imposed on me..
I wrote an apology email to them 2-3 days back.. but no reply came.. I called on their landline no. Then the man in that office who received the call is now asking me for rs12000 to clear my name/file from the desk.
What should I do now ?
Please help..

A.Dear client,

Respond to the notice: Prepare a written response to the show cause notice within the given timeframe. Clearly explain your side of the story, providing any necessary justifications or explanations for the item in question. Be respectful and honest in your response.

Avoid making payments without legal guidance: It is advisable to consult with your lawyer before making any payments or accepting offers to clear your name or file from the customs office. Paying an amount without proper clarification or understanding the implications could have legal consequences.

Follow legal procedures: Cooperate with the customs officials and follow any legal procedures or instructions provided. If required, attend any meetings or hearings related to the case.
