I am a 20 year old Hindu girl intending to marey a 25 year old muslim man through the special marriage act. Neither of us want to convert to any other religion. I want to stay a hindu and he wants to stay a muslim. Is this kind of marriage possible? If so, can anybody interfere in our marriage wanting to dissolve it showing religious reasons?

A.Hello dear, for getting married in India the girl should be 18 years of age or above and the man should be 21 years of age or above. In your case both of you are eligible of that. According to Indian law any adult human has the right to choose her/his partner for marriage and nobody can oppose that in the basis of religion. Get the form of registering marriage under the Special Marriage Act from your district Marriage Register Office. Register your marriage with the needful.
